Tom Jones has been designing and making outdoor gear for more than 40 years, including many years at Black Diamond.

After taking up canyoneering, he started making canyon-specific packs and rope bags, which eventually led to the creation of Imlay Canyon Gear.

Tom aims to spend at least 80 days a year in canyons, which means all his gear undergoes serious research and real-world testing.
